Quartz sand is a quartz particle made of broken quartz stone. Quartz Rock, also known as silica, is a hard, wear-resistant, chemically stable silicate mineral. Quartz sandstone, quartzite and ganglite exist in nature. Quartz sandstone is a consolidated clastic rock with a quartz fragment content of more than 95%, which comes from various magmatic rocks, sedimentary rocks and metamorphic rocks. There are few heavy minerals, while the associated minerals are feldspar, mica and clay minerals. There are two types of quartzite: sedimentary origin and metamorphic origin. The former is characterized by unclear boundary between clastic particles and cementation, while the latter refers to quartzite ores with deep metamorphism and pure quality. Gangue quartz is formed by hydrothermal action, almost entirely composed of quartz, dense block structure. The mineral content of quartz sand varies greatly, mainly quartz, followed by feldspar, mica, cuttings, heavy minerals, clay minerals and so on.
