Brown fused alumina is made of bauxite, coke (anthracite) as the main raw materials, and is smelted at high temperature in arc furnace. It is a grinding tool made of it, suitable for grinding metals with high tensile strength, such as all kinds of common steel, malleable iron, hard bronze, etc..It can also be used for manufacturing high-grade refractory materials. Brown fused alumina has the characteristics of high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low linear expansion coefficient and corrosion resistance. It has been verified by the practice of dozens of refractory production enterprises that the product has the characteristics of no detonation, no pulverization and no cracking in the process of application. In particular, its cost performance is much higher than that of traditional brown fused alumina, which makes it become the best aggregate and filler of refractories.
