Calcined bauxite production in a shutdown in Xiaoyi

Mar. 7, 2022 - Calcined bauxite producers and processors are in a state of a shutdown again in Xiaoyi, Shanxi. There are currently no market quotes. In that case, the calcined bauxite supply has been insufficient for nearly a month in Xiaoyi.

According to producers, their inventory has been nearly exhausted. More and more warehouses have a total inventory of fewer than 500 tons individually. Also, they have reported that there is uncertainty about whether they can fully resume work in the future.
